This plane is an animal, can take crew of 4, all gear and bring them back with all their caribou, 1 trip
Big plane but needs a new lettering job
As we wait for our turn to the field we talk with hunters out front of RAM Air, they all had a little luck.
More RAM Air shots, in front of deboning tent.  Blue pallet was picked up by Nortern Air to ship out.  Smaller planes sometimes ment splitting of horns.
Our turn to load up and head out
Our turn to load up and head out.  Doors are large and you don't have to split those big horns when you come home.
This plane looks big but it can take off and land on a dime.
Dan ready to go with all gear in back with plenty of room.
Wink ready for the big slaughter
Veiw of Kotzebue as we take off.

More out the front of camp, cut some trees to place hip boots over to keep dry
Back of the crapper, privacy and upper right is our food stash placed off the ground and surronded with a trash bag to keep dry
Front of the crapper, this was a nice addition and not a lot of weight
This is some vews from the front of our camp and where we thought the parade of caribou would come.
Camp chairs out and ready to glass the river bed
Meat pole up ready to be filled and right out in front of camp
Nice color to this char and the hole was right by dans left hand

Dan ready to cook his fish, just frying it up with our little coleman stove
A view from up river, we are on the hill across from camp.  This is a nice few of the flats

A partridge that we saw walking through the spruce
My Arctic Char from the same hole that day caught in.
Glassing for animals from the hillside where we saw some big bulls
Dan cooking my Char in tin foil over the coals of our campfire.
Time to take a break and take in the beauty
Glassing and you can see our river in the back ground at the top of my head, about 1 1/2 miles away.
View from my spot looking South about 1 1/2 miles
View from my spot looking north on the river about 1 mile down from camp

That is a big mess, check the slaughter in the back ground
All smiles for Dan, 4 shots - 4 hours and he is done
Heads ready to transport, what a beautiful site
Dan packing out the head with a nice shot on how big the horns really are.
Packing meat back to camp, we had to go about 300 yards
Nice meat pole, just hope it has enough room for all the stuff
Dan working on that big cigar as he secures his meat
Beautiful site with all that meat but it all fit.
All the stuff is back and Dan is hard a working trying to fit it all in.  Me, I am heading back hunting because those cow horns are mine.
Tarp keeps the rain out and sun off but allows the wind under and through the center
Beautiful site with all that meat but it all fit.
One cow, the end of our trip and rain makes me ready to go home.
Pack out day, all the stuff on the runway ready to go, meat is under the blue tarp
Break the tent out to day and possible saying one more night
Craig hasn't come but it is time for dinner so breaking out the stuff
No more hotel rooms in Kotzebue so I guess it is time pitch the tent one more time.
